Telecom Review managed to secure an exclusive interview with Lebanon’s Minister of Public Health and Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Ghassan Hasbani at the 10th edition of the Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit in Beirut, Lebanon. The country’s health minister says the continued digitalization of the nation’s healthcare system would revolutionize the industry and would provide access to those in underserved or rural areas


Digital transformation is critical for telecom operators looking to deploy 5G networks because the technology will require them to be more agile and cost-efficient, Huawei executive said at the Telecom Review Summit held in Beirut on 13 April. An Jian, President of Huawei Wireless Marketing and Solution Sales, said the 5G “is quite important for the transformation of society, especially for the digitalization of traditional industries.”


Emirates Data Clearing House (EDCH), a subsidiary of Etisalat Services Holding, is a regional leader in providing cloud-based roaming and revenue management services to over 50 telecom carriers worldwide. Telecom Review TV spoke to Dino Flores, VP of Technology at Qualcomm, about 5G roll-out and the opportunities available for operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 5G roll-outs could happen as early as next year, Flores predicts.
